Learn about LGBTQ hardship – how LGBTQ people are affected, what barriers LGBTQ people face and how to make your organisation more inclusive.
This offer is aimed at professionals working within health and social care and is open to 2 members of staff per organisation. We would encourage staff members who attend to disseminate what they learn within this session across their organisation.
This training will look at: What hardship means and how to identify it, to have a better understanding of hardship, why LGBTQ people face hardship, identifying barriers to LGBTQ people engaging with services and ways your service can better meet the needs of LGBTQ people.
This training will be held by the Urgent Need Advocates from MindOut and Allsorts Youth Project and therefore is not aimed at services working with specific age groups, but there will be time to ask any specific questions you may have.
Please note, bookings for this workshop are available until 5pm on 15th June
