Recognising and Celebrating Black LGBTQ+ People at Work – Digital Workshop

October is Black History Month. This is an opportunity to step up and support LGBTQ+ PoC. Use this session to take time and learn ways to recognise and celebrate black LGBTQ+ people in the workplace.

Join us for a 2 hour interactive workshop at 10:30 on 13 October 2021. You’ll gain the tools and confidence to be a better ally to black LGBTQ + people in your workplace.

Black History Month is a celebration of all Black life, including Black lesbian, gay, bi and trans people. It’s an important opportunity for us all to better understand and highlight the work and contributions of Black LGBTQ+ people, which are too often forgotten and erased. It’s also a time to reflect on our own LGBTQ+ inclusion work, to better understand why Black LGBTQ+ people are experience worse outcomes in the working world, in order to ensure that we’re taking proactive steps to celebrate, represent and centre equality for Black LGBTQ+ people.
