A poetry performance and creative writing workshop for LBT women and non-binary people, led by Ella Otomewo.
Ella Otomewo is a poet who found her voice in the spoken word community, but now writes for both the page and the stage. She has facilitated creative writing workshops in universities, libraries, schools, and at festivals, and has performed all over the UK, and across Europe. Ella is primarily a solo performer, however, has also worked as part of an ensemble with the renowned spoken word collective, Young Identity. This year she has collaborated and performed with Contact Theatre, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, and Art with Heart.
For this event Ella will perform 20 minutes of her own poetry and followed by a 70-minute creative writing workshop for LBT women and non-binary people. This evening session is an opportunity to exercise your creative side in a safe space.
