Pride Month is a great opportunity to demonstrate your commitment as an ally to the trans community.
Stonewall’s LGBT in Britain: Trans Report found that half of trans people (51 per cent) have hidden their identity at work for fear of discrimination. To create inclusive environments where everyone feels safe to be themselves, it’s important to reflect on our allyship practices. Use this workshop to improve your understanding of trans identities and experiences, and equip yourself to take proactive steps as an ally to your trans colleagues, customers and service users.
Join us at 10:30 am on 29 June 2021 for a 2-hour interactive workshop on trans inclusion at work.
We want our events to be accessible to everyone. All delegates should expect to feel safe, welcome and included at our events. You can read our access statement here.
These sessions will run via Zoom with up to 50 delegates. There will be smaller break-out rooms for delegates to complete optional discussion activities. Here is a link to the accessibility features Zoom offers.
We will have members of the team on Tech and Wellbeing support throughout the session. There will be a British Sign Language interpreter for all open sessions, and captions will be available. For more information please read our access statement.
If you have any access needs, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do our best to accommodate these.
