Bi Visibility Day is an important calendar date in September. It is a great opportunity to celebrate your bi colleagues and reflect on your inclusion practices.
We know that bi people experience higher levels of discrimination than their gay and lesbian colleagues. When creating LGBT inclusive workplaces, it’s important to ensure that bi people aren’t left behind. You’ll leave the session better equipped to be a positive and active ally. We will explore bi identities and experiences, and practical steps towards bi inclusion.
Join us on Thursday 23 September from 13:30-15:30 for a 2-hour interactive workshop.
We want our events to be accessible to everyone. All delegates should expect to feel safe, welcome and included at our events. You can read our access statement here.
These sessions will run via Zoom with up to 50 delegates. There will be smaller break-out rooms for delegates to complete optional discussion activities. Here is a link to the accessibility features Zoom offers.
We will have members of the team on Tech and Wellbeing support throughout the session. There will be a British Sign Language interpreter for all open sessions, and captions will be available. For more information please read our access statement.
If you have any access needs, please email: email@example.com. We will do our best to accommodate these.
